The Forest Leaf Collection by Michael Aram takes its inspiration from the intricacies of form and texture found in foliage from around the world. By interpreting plant forms in cast metal, Aram presents work which is evocative of a natural environment transformed and redefined. "In this piece, I like the idea of bark as a container for other plant life. Weaving grasses or stems through the holes at the top of the vase create a wonderful contrast between nature and my metal expression of nature."
